Did anyone win Monday’s $875 million Powerball jackpot?

It’s the seventh-largest jackpot in Powerball history.

WASHINGTON — Check your tickets: Powerball’s jackpot has climbed to an estimated $875 million for Monday’s drawing, marking the second-largest Powerball prize of 2025 as it inches closer to another possible billion-dollar jackpot.

Monday’s jackpot still falls nearly a billion dollars below September’s historic $1.8 billion jackpot, which was split by two tickets sold in Missouri and Texas — the second-largest lottery prize in U.S. history.

The current jackpot has been rolling since Sept. 6, when those two winners beat odds of 1 in 292.2 million. Monday’s prize represents the cash value of an annuity paid over 29 years; winners can also choose a lump sum payment, which amounts to $403.6 million before accounting for taxes.

The largest Powerball jackpot remains $2.04 billion, won by a single ticket in California in November 2022. This year has produced three major Powerball wins: the $1.8 billion September prize, a $526.5 million jackpot claimed in California in March and a $328.5 million prize won in Oregon in January.
