Julia Fox is no stranger to experimenting with new looks, and her latest might seem a little familiar. Over the weekend, the actress and author stepped out in New York City, debuting a cropped jet-black hairdo.

Fox sported a bold-shouldered leather jacket and a matching midi slit skirt, pairing the set with a tucked-in striped button-down and a polka dot necktie, which she wore slung around her shoulders. The Uncut Gems star added on sheer tights and a pair of peep-toe mules.

Back in January, Fox revealed a bleach blonde pixie cut at the premiere of her movie Presence in NYC. She began to grow out her hair over the course of the past few months before showing off her latest chop on Friday, December 5.

Three months ago, Fox bared a different kind of cleavage during London Fashion Week. She modeled a lingerie-inspired leather corset dress by Dilara Findikoglu, which consisted of a cone bra bodice affixed to a low-rise pencil skirt.

Fox later turned around to reveal the back of her garment, putting its 360-degree lace-up silhouette on full display. She accessorized with a cropped fuzzy coat and a small black handbag, adding on sheer tights and sharp pumps.

The New York Times bestselling author wore her dark tendrils in damp curls, while her makeup included gray eyeshadow, a razor-thin brow, and a nude lip.

In May, Fox also favored a butt cutout at Cultured‘s Cult100 party. She brought her daring style to the Guggenheim Museum, where she paired buttless briefs with a white tank layered underneath a strapless bustier-style bra. Her brunette crop was styled in slicked-back ringlets.

Fittingly, Fox’s playlist included her own song, which she famously debuted at Charli XCX’s Boiler Room set last year. “Down the Drain” shares the same title as her 2023 memoir.
