As Emily heads back to Rome for season 5, Lily Collins and co. have made their way to Venice. The Emily in Paris season 5 press tour is officially underway–and, perhaps unsurprisingly, it’s an Italian affair so far. Collins and her co-stars, Ashley Park and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, posed by a Venetian canal–and, naturally, they pulled out all of the sartorial stops for the occasion. Collins also rocked one of her shortest bob looks yet.

The actress first debuted her sleek, chic bob in June 2024 before her character also got the chop in season 3. Now, she’s gone even shorter for her Roman season of the show. In her latest appearances, Collins has been sporting an ultra short microbob that barely reaches her ears–a notable change from her signature chin-grazing look. As the actress explained during a recent Tonight Show appearance, her bob was actually inspired by Victoria Beckham’s iconic Posh Spice bob. “Yours is a lot shinier and a lot sharper than mine,” Beckham said to Collins during the show, to which Collins replied with a gasp, “No, no! Well, thank you, I could never outshine the–no!”

Collins paired her short, sharp hair with a dramatic avant garde moment. She opted for a sculptural white gown from Schiaparelli’s spring 2025 couture collection. The optical illusion gown features a shredded, accordion-like design that spirals around the skirt in dramatic folds, before falling in an asymmetrical tulle hem. She paired the magical dress with a glittering choker and white heels, while she styled her super short bob in a deep side part.

Emily in Paris season 5 premieres on Netflix on December 18.
