Is Zac Brown Band performing satanic rituals? Controversy at Vegas Sphere

Country music group Zac Brown Band is being accused of performing a satanic ritual on stage during their “Love & Fear” residency at the Las Vegas Sphere.

The “Chicken Fried” performers kicked off their eight-show run last weekend on Dec. 5 and 6 where fans were taken aback by some of the graphic elements of their performance.

One image that rose over the stage was a skeleton with a huge jagged crown towering high above everything with its mouth open in a macabre smile.

The show also featured images of fire and a winding labyrinth, as well as a statue of an avenging angel.

Satanic allegations quickly ran rampant. “Blatantly demonic,” commented one person on a video shared by Zac Brown Band’s Instagram page that showcased some of the visuals part of the residency.

“Does the band have any explanation for portraying the gates of hell and all the satanic symbols at this show?” asked another.

“Well thank you for letting us know who you worship,” wrote another.

Other comments read: “Demonic….that’s not country!” and “Repent.”

Despite the outcry online, Satanic Rev. Jared Mammon from the Church of Satan told TMZ that he did not think the Zac Brown Band was trying to portray a satanic ritual.

Shutting down the allegations, he said that the masses interpret “everything that amounts to glorified Halloween decorations as ‘Satanic.’”

Mammon believes we are approaching a 1980s Satanic Panic, when unproven Satanism cases saturated the news cycle.

Zac Brown Band has not commented on the allegations.

They will continue their run at the Sphere with sold-out performances on Dec. 12 and Dec. 13, as well as shows in the new year on Jan. 9, 10, 16 and 17, 2026.
